Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month

May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month so we put this timeline together to show you how far Motorcycle Safety has come. As the weather starts to warm there are more and more motorcycles on our roads and freeways. Raising awareness to the increase in motorcyclists is part of our mission, but we would also like to remind our riders to wear protective gear, especially helmets! If you are in one of the three states (New Hampshire, Iowa & Illinois) that do not require helmets when riding a motorcycle, we would like to remind you that helmets save lives. There are also studies that show that motorcycle fatalities are correlated to speeding and being under the influence. So this May let’s all do our best to take precautions, raise awareness, be safe out there and enjoy the ride!
